Work can be certificated to a previous version of BS 7671 if designed prior to the standard’s withdrawal. Work designed after 15th October 2026 must conform to AMD 4:2026. Contractual requirements should also be considered.

The NICEIC Electrical Installation Condition Report is intended to be used only for the purpose of reporting on the condition of an existing electrical installation. The report should identify, so far as is reasonably practicable and having regard to the details and limitations recorded in PART 6, any damage, deterioration, defects, dangerous conditions and any non-compliances with the requirements of BS 7671: 2018 (as amended), which may give rise to danger.

Certificates must be purchased by logging in with your registered account that was used to purchase the NICEIC  cert software or additional licence.

Certificates are unable to be allocated to a new account created at point of purchase.
