These certificates are to be used only for the inspection and servicing of a Grade 'A' fire detection and fire alarm system as described by Table 1 of BS 5839-6 (as amended) where the use of a Grade 'A' system is recommended within dwellings, supported housing, and the communal areas of HMOs and sheltered housing and provides assurance to the User and/or the Premises Management that the system has been inspected and serviced in accordance with the relevant requirements of BS 5839-1:2025 (as amended).
